Since Glamorgan Deaf Golf Society was setup, April 2005. It was our first deaf golf competition with the kind invitation from West Country Deaf Golf. It gave me a great pleasure to see old and new faces welcomed to our golf society and it was a great experience for us to play on their golf course in Thornbury. Not only did we play golf, the weather was fantastic and the enjoyment of being in the company of the West Country Deaf Golf. It was pleasing to see the final result 2 – 2.
We also enjoyed our meals and drinks with them in a relaxing atmosphere and we are looking forward to invite West Country Deaf Golf to play on our “welsh soil” sometime in this year.
